The lighting is dead simple, you spend hours in the studio to find just the right light and then the all mighty sun makes it all so easy. No other light sources here, just late winter sun and an A3 white piece of cardboard killing the shadown on the right side of her face et voila! Of course, some creating PS done…

I had so much fun with Allison and Noah on their engagement session that I just knew their wedding would be a blast. And I was right. Held at the Brooklyn Aquarium, the wedding was flawlessly organized to reflect the couple’s sensibilities, from guests dressed as pirates to a state Supreme Court justice officiating. More from this wonderful wedding to come.

I had this up before but due to negative comments and not understanding what this photo was about I took it down. I have decided to put it back up. I feel that it is really important to put it up. It shows how I feel…

To me this photo is about my pain and suffering. When my fiance broke off our engagement for another woman, i had to find a way to show how I really truly felt about it. I still feel beautiful (on the inside) I just feel broken and I feel this photo shows that. The position I have my body in is the "ehh life is stressen me out". I put my hands like that when Im giving up. haha. My face out of the photo is to show how I am forgetting him. I really like this photo.

Art is not just about the end product but the journey you take to get to the product. Its about the mood, feelings, and emotions you are feeling at the time of the process.
